Cambridge University needed a closing finale film for a gala event: a love letter to the university told through letters from current living alumni to iconic Cambridge figures of the past. David Attenborough wrote to Charles Darwin, Mary Beard to Jane Ellen Harrison, Neil Lawrence to Alan Turing, and Harvey Reall to Stephen Hawking.
Wild created an animated projection piece that wrapped around the walls of the gala tent, with a distinct animation style for each letter and a bespoke musical score. The result was an immersive, cinematic finale that turned Cambridge’s intellectual legacy into a truly memorable live experience.
