When I started making films, I focused on creating real stories, unbranded style docs, mainly sad stuff, as I was a big fan of realism and found it very humbling being the person who got to hear these stories firsthand. Now I like to think I make emotive stories, some of which are still sad, with the aesthetic of a music video director.
