Giulia Martinelli
DIRECTOR, ANIMATOR, ILLUSTRATOR
Giulia is an Italian creative, originally from Italy and based in Zurich, Switzerland, who is passionate about storytelling, and sustainability.
With a background in foreign languages and literature, she graduated from the National Film School's animation department in Turin – Italy, in 2016, with the multi-award-winning short animated film “MERLOT”. She then took part in the training program ASF (Animation Sans Frontières), European Animation Development Lab and has been freelancing ever since.
She is fascinated about new technology, in particular those involving interactivity, and likes being engaged in meaningful and educational projects to spread ethical messages and have a positive impact on her audience, being able to let her style shine through her contribution.
Giulia is balancing client commissioned work with personal projects, mainly short animated films.
